Planning and design

Our engineers plan and design civil structures for government departments, contractors and private owners. We start from the site: surveys, soil and hydrological data, and what the structure has to do. From there we prepare layouts and alternatives, carry out the structural and hydraulic analysis, and issue design reports and construction drawings to the relevant Indian Standard codes and the client department’s requirements.

We work on dams, barrages, spillways, in-stream storage structures and overhead tanks; on major bridges, road embankments and pavements; and on multi-storey buildings and other urban-development structures.
